I honestly think that he is just being put out of business by the chain used 
bookstores around here such as Half Price Books.  I do a lot of my book 
shopping there, and at other used bookstores.  I have never been to his shop, 
but I'll probably go just to try to save some books.  I guess he's getting what 
he wants in that respect.

 probably don't make a savage public point about deterioration in educational 
 standards.
 
 It's like a prisoner going on a hunger-strike to make a political point or
