We preordered from amazon last time with the promise that it would be delivered on our doorstep the morning of the release. 3 days later when it still hadn't arrived we told them to keep it and went and bought it. I think it finally arrived a week late and we sent it back. This time I intend to just purchase it at my local indie bookstore. Keep more of the money in the city. And curses on anyone on this list who posts any spoilers once it is out. I am a slow reader....
