Hey Gang, I just wanted to take the time to briefly introduce myself. I'm new to bookcrossing.com as well as this group. I've been reading quite a few posted messages to see how you guys go about discussion and I must admit, I'm still a little lost so I'm just going to dive in to share my reading experience. Ha!
I live in Houston, Texas and didn't really start to appreciate reading until my mid twenties. After having my son, who is now about to be 10 yrs old....I wanted to set a good example and start good habits of literacy in him......I have succeeded in that as we read MANY books together...when he allows me..haha, but he's really into the Hardy Boys mysteries. In one years time he's read almost 40 books. Me, well, I'm a huge fan of chic lit although I do find that the plots can be redundant and predictable now. I'm trying to broaden the scope of my fiction selections to different types....
