Hey Ivan, Great thing to do to remove the execution of elections from the
zookeeper thread. I was wondering about the motivation to have a run method
executing in an infinite loop. For abstraction purposes, wouldn't it be better
to have a thread pool executor to decouple the zookeeper event notification
from the execution of elections?
