Good afternoon all,
I have just chatted to Brigadier Bert van der Walt
and the news is unchanged. I am afraid that we are
all still playing a waiting game at the moment, the
police included. Everyone is panicking about the 31st
of July. the minister has not signed off on anything.
Personally all I can tell you is that I will not
be registering to become a SHG dealer until the
day of Tuesday 31st of July. As soon as one has
the second-hand goods dealer license, one is obliged
to follow each and every part of the new SHGA,
which our business, Tall Stories, cannot possibly do
and I know that many of you are in a
similar position.
I will keep you posted as to what is going on as
soon as I hear anything and I will keep banging on
the door to see if there is any progress.
