I managed to fix this, even though I still don't quite understand what happened. I went to the Calm Radio site and downloaded all the URL schemes they make available for 3rd party players. I noticed that they were different from what I had been using for a while. So I swapped URLs and that fixed the problem. My alarm went off this morning as before.
What I still can't figure out is why the same station would still play from my preset button but not when called for by the alarm. It would seem that either the URL would work or it would not.
