Interesting... I wasn't aware that this was a known problem... Crap...does that mean it is an eventuality for my other four booms???
This will not necessarily afflict your other Booms. I have only one, but I've had it since their first release, use it at significant volume levels for many hours every day. Its woofers are going strong.
One thing about my Boom usage however: since almost the very beginning, I've been using it with an attached subwoofer - which results in less bass signal being sent to the on-board woofers. This reduced stress may have made the difference.
