I've read about alternative or modded Touch firmwares yeah... I didn't
know it was so hard or impossible to do it on a Boom.

So I guess the best bet to start out with would be to make something
that talks to these devices like LMS does.

Which would be a computer-only piece of software.

Not a bad way to start out in any case if you need to learn about
protocols and such.


Anyway I have my boom connected through static IP as an external entry
point, in other words: I am now connected through my public IP.

Thankfully my router supports this loopback thing, which is why I bought
it.

This means my boom is now semi-mobile :p. All I need is a wifi network.
So I am going to surprise the Chinese neighbour-lady with music in her
snack joint :p.
