Since our setups are different w.r.t. devices it wasn't as simple as just comparing them. Well, comparing them in Beyond Compare was simple but the differences was just all over the place. What I ended up doing was to remove the LMS installation completely as per this thread 'Complete-uninstall-LMS' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?103175-Complete-uninstall-LMS) and then re-installed it. No more max volume. I'm generally a thorough and root cause seeking person but being the only "IT-support employee" in the household I got a bit stressed by the constant "Why does it do that?" at breakfast, lunch, dinner and any time in between. And in all that stress I forgot to copy and save my .prefs file. So I guess my final solution to this problem is to "sudo apt-get purge" the s..t out of the LMS and then start from scratch... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Struven's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114991 _______________________________________________ Boom mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/boom
