I was recently given a Boom by a friend, and it won't connect to my
wifi. I have quite literally dozens of devices connected, and haven't
had this issue with others. So I'm curious if it's a known issue at all.
My wifi is provided by ubiquiti hardware, is set to provide WPA2/WPA3
security and operates on both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. I have done a factory
reset on it, and entered the pw in 3 times. my password is all in lower
case with spaces, so seems pretty easy to enter correctly via the knob.
It seems to "try" for 30 seconds, then report failure. It is running
version firmware 57. So question 1 is whether folks are aware of any
compatibility issues with the wifi implementation on the Boom.

My friend warned me against updating to Logitech's latest firmware,
which he tells me renders it incompatible with LMS. But I am also seeing
mention of community provided firmware here. I didn't read all 55 pages
of the thread, but there was a link to a changelog
(https://ralph_irving.gitlab.io/lms-community-firmware/changelog.html)
which seems likely to be up to date. There are numerous mentions of
fixes to wireless issues, but none sound like mine (to me). It looks as
though it is pretty stable at this point. Q2: Is there any reason I
shouldn't try this at this point?

Thanks for any/all guidance!
