I don't have any objections - in fact, I think it's a good idea, - but I
just wanted to note (I am pretty sure you know it, but just in case :) that
a lot of DocBook customization can be done without actually touching any of
the original files. IMO that should be a preferred way - apart from the
changes that are targeting to become patch submits :).
