After experimenting with boostbook early on, I'm now trying to get caught up with the latest version of things. But, alas, I'm having build problems.
First some details on my environment: 1) Updated (non anonymous) CVS for boost today 2) Mandrake 9.1 3) Rebuilt bjam today version 3.1.6 I'll leave out the xslt details as I don't think I'm getting there. ****************************************************************** Problem 1: After bjam --v2 from BOOST_TOP/docs I get: Unable to load Boost.Build: could not find build system. --------------------------------------------------------- .../boost_cvs/boost-build.jam attempted to load the build system by invoking 'boost-build tools/build/new ;' but we were unable to find "bootstrap.jam" in the specified directory or in BOOST_BUILD_PATH (searching .../boost_cvs/tools/build/new). Solution: I defined BOOST_BUILD_PATH to point at BOOST_TOP/tools/build ****************************************************************** Problem 2:After bjam --v2 [Jj]amfile.v2: No such file or directory [Jj]amfile.v2: No such file or directory ...found 8 targets... Of course there is a Jamfile.v2 right there. Ideas? I guess my other question is am I jumping the gun on this? Should I go back to the old way for awhile until the jam build is stabalized?
