My personal preference is to add margins to the sides so the text does not run all the way from one border of the window to the other.
As for the margins, add
body
{
margin-left: 5%;
margin-right: 5%;
}to boostbook.css at the top, or in '@media screen' if you only want the margins on the screen and not when printed.
the huge green navbar at the top. It totally does not fit in with the rest of the document. IMHO a navbar to be at each page have to be nonintrusive (small, not much colors) and usefull (something that you really need at each page) and it should have at least similar design as the rest of the document.
Currently, the default layout for navbar.xsl is horizontal-style links without the green style and Spirit-style nav-links. See navbar.xsl for more information on the various configurations.
This does not currently work with the footer nav-links; I should have this up shortly. I also want to add support for title flow, rendering it beside the Boost logo in 'standalone' mode or before/after the nav-links.
Is there an online example that I could check it out?
I have put the updated stylesheets back on the files section until they are integrated into Boost. The boostbook.css goes in boost/doc/html and hte rest in boost/tools/boostbook/xsl. I would like feedback on the new navbar.xsl template, since it is now customizable :).
You'll need to build the docs with the new stylesheets to see an example of this at present.
Regards, Reece
