While trying to use Boost.Book and Boost.Bjam to build html docs for Boost,
I encountered the following question:
I installed and configured libxml2, libxslt1.1 and xsltproc,
downloaded "docbook-xsl-1.65.1.tar.gz" and "docbook-xml-4.2.zip" from
internet,
extracted and put them into my home dir:
/home/allen/boostbook/docbook-xsl-1.65.1/
/home/allen/boostbook/docbook-xml-4.2/
Then I modified /home/allen/boost-cvs/boost/tools/build/v2/user-config.jam,
add
then following lines:
using boostbook : /home/allen/boostbook/docbook-xsl-1.65.1/
: /home/allen/boostbook/docbook-xml-4.2/
;
While try to compile docs for program_options library, I got the following
errors:
bjam --v2 html
...found 40 targets...
...updating 1 target...
xslt-xsltproc-dir html/HTML.manifest
http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/html/admon.xsl:1: parser
error : Document is empty
^
http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/html/admon.xsl:1: parser
error : Start tag expected, '<' not found

compilation error: file
http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/html/docbook.xsl line 55
element include
xsl:include : unable to load
http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/html/admon.xsl
...interrupted
It seems that boostbook still tries to load docbook.xsl and docbook.dtd from
internet.
I fount /home/allen/boostbook/docbook-xsl-1.65.1/html/docbook.xsl, and
/home/allen/boostbook/docbook-xml-4.2/docbookx.dtd, renamed the latter to
docbook.dtd
Then I tried
using boostbook : /home/allen/boostbook/docbook-xsl-1.65.1/html
: /home/allen/boostbook/docbook-xml-4.2/
;
The errors remain.
Would anyone tell me what I am missing? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
Best regards.
