Grr... I bet I've seen this error, but don't know what is the solution. Are you using NT bjam from cygwin or vice versa?

The usual cause for this is spaces in the name of an executable bjam is trying to run that isn't quoted. For example:


C:\Program Files\foo\bar.exe

Instead of:

"C:\Program Files\foo\bar.exe"
