Cool, I'll try it out tomorrow... But I found another:
Having two consecutive /emphasis/ marks in a /row/.
Causes it to think of it as one longer /emphasis\/ markup \/instead/.
Although I can't remember now if it was only when /a/ single letter like
/b/ is involved.
