That is intentional. All groups of navigation elements have that
style. The consistency helps in finding them within the rest of the

navigate through the document that are found at the top/right and
bottom/right of the BoostBook generated documentation.


Hm.  They look good to me.

They look better without the border which is how they were
originally designed (by yours truly :-) ). IMO, the border does
not give any real value and goes against the KISS principle.
Less is more. You don't need to place borders around icons
to make them stand out.

I have some more comments regarding the new L&F. I'll try to
collect my thoughts and post them here later.
