Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
Perhaps the following xsl parameters could help:
boost.image.src - file for the logo
boost.image.alt - alternate text
boost.image.w - width
boost.image.h - height
While changing these won't remove the logo per se, they do allow you to
put in another picture in its place.
This is what I ended up doing locally.
At this point I'd settle for a hack, but I think it'd be really valuable
in the future to be able to more easily write non-boost documentation.
Well, the quickest hack to completely remove the logo would be to delete
or comment (<!-- like this -->) lines 59-65 of navbar.xsl.
What do others think about this, is it worthwhile to add a parameter to
remove the logo? What should it be? FWIW, I could add the parameter
nav.logo (= "yes/no") for this.
I added this as well and it suited my purposes.
There are many software (and even non-software) projects that could
benefit from the combination of quickbook + Boost.Build and yet it seems
to be difficult to get boostbook to behave itself in other environments.
Just my two cents.
There are some rough edges here and there but, I think, nothing that
can't be worked out. I'm also interested in documenting non-Boost code
and will try to provide fixes I see fit. Are there other specific issues
you have come across?
At the time I posted, the main issue had to do with the navbar. I wonder
if there's any possibility of the navbar being more configurable. It is
useful to have such a thing for non-Boost documentation, but not if it
includes the links to 'Libraries', 'People', etc. That's just off the
top of my head, I'll try to post some more constructive ideas soon.
Thanks for the response,
Dylan Trotter
Best regards,
João
