As we come into the home stretch of 1.63, I thought that I would gather up
the status of all the libraries that the CMT maintains and give a bit of
info here.

I haven't gathered up bugs out of trac - but rather just info from GitHub.
If you have opinions on these pull requests, etc. please chime in.

I'll be looking at the differences between develop and master today and/or
tomorrow.
