It depends upon what you are doing, I think "occationally broken, mostly working" would be a reasonable approximation. Problems such as the ones you describe should be the exception rather than the rule, and should be fixed promptly (in other words authors should be prepared to respond reasonably prompty to fallout from any changes they make), but I don't think anyone could guarentee that everything works all the time :-( > am I wasting my time attempting to build and use the mainline CVS branch > every day?
