It's a good idea to reference the other lists, but I don't love that indexing organization. I would prefer to see a single "mailing lists" link on the home page which points to the mailing_lists.html page. That would list every mailing list with a short description which could help people understand what they're getting into (i.e. volume, topic, required level of expertise, ...) > A general question: Is it really desirable to have separate mailing > lists?
