I guess there's a few of us waiting to see now. Better chance to compare notes I guess <g> I note that this is an invitation to join the beta, rather than a public beta, so I guess anyone who does get on will sign the traditional Borland NDA that means you are not allowed to say anything, including that you signed an NDA to join a beta... I suspect the first these lists will hear is when the new compiler goes public, but it sounds like we have a few Boosters eager to get onto the beta, so there is a good chance we will have configs ready to go when it is released. That does bring up the question of how the config for the new compiler is published though. Do we need to wait for the next boost release cycle before boost is usable with this new compiler? Do we expect boost users to check out the CVS image? Is it worth thinking of some scheme to make compiler configs available separate to the main boost release/patch cycle? Perhaps some unofficial configs available through the Wiki or similar? I am sure the Borland compiler will not be the only one released outside the boost cycle. Or is this simply to be expected for early adopters? -- AlisdairM _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe & other changes: http://lists.boost.org/mailman/listinfo.cgi/boost
