If you want to see an example of GAE application with Bosh connection you
can see the emite project

I'm using it with three main components:

- The GWT application (emite)
- The Bosh connection managet (JabberHTTPBinding)
- The XMPP server (Ejabberd)

Btw you can use also the Bosh module in the Ejabberd server.
The problem for you is that the project is in Java, but the documentation is
pretty good.
