Geographic information is nice, but it is still the case that resources physically down the street may be hundreds of network-miles away. Information about network connectivity, if nothing other than which of the major backbone(s) and any occasional special or regional networks (e.g. Internet2) the mirror's connected to. A "sort for _____ network first" would make a nice addition if you had that info about a significant number of hosts, too. I, for instance, would look for I2 then CWIX before picking a north american mirror at random. j
