[Boston.pm] Postgresql drivers

I was wondering if I can easily convert some scripts using mysql to Postgresql, just to check the portability. It seems that it is not so. I also find that the DBD::Pg is dated. Current Postgresql is 7.3*.
Anyone with recent experience?
