Sorry for the late reply -- was on vacation and am just catching up on my mongermail now -- but does your wife by any chance use IE and the Google toolbar for IE? If not, grab a copy from <http://toolbar.google.com/>. If she has an old copy, consider upgrading to the current edition, because the nice new feature it includes is a popup blocker, and a very effective one at that.
