Chris Devers's suggestion worked fine. Now I can use Ctrl+Alt+ + to toggle
resolution.
However at lower resolutions, the desktop is too big to fit, so I need to
scrawl. It does not seem to re-size the desktop!
Anyway, I am a happy camper. Thanks all!
