Ben, thanks for the excellent links (which in turn contained more). Personally, with the singular exception of the sometimes vehement (socialist?!?) opposition within the Perl community, I lean towards seeing it as having more pro's than cons. But I do think we've taken this conversation on our small microcosm as far as is reasonable for now. I'd recommend everyone interested in the subject of certification (or possible alternatives to traditional certification???), myself included, take a time out to read up on the prior art and continue this discussion at our next meeting. JMHO
