It's even simpler than that. BLU welcomes anyone to attend the meetings, 
so there's no reason why Boston.pm members wouldn't be welcome there. 
And as for the after-meeting social gathering, it typically consists of 
3 to 5 BLU regulars[1], who I doubt would mind the added company, but 
more importantly there's nothing stopping the Boston.pm'ers from 
gathering at another table.

(1. I've never attended one of the after-meeting social gatherings, but 
BLU asks for a show of hands at the end of the meeting so they can 
reserve an appropriately sized table.)

John Abreau, the Executive Director of BLU, is also affiliated with 
Boston.pm, though I've never seen him at a Boston.pm meeting.

LinkedIn could be helpful in spotting the other overlapping members, 
though not so useful in spotting who actually attends meetings.
