It's even simpler than that. BLU welcomes anyone to attend the meetings, so there's no reason why Boston.pm members wouldn't be welcome there. And as for the after-meeting social gathering, it typically consists of 3 to 5 BLU regulars[1], who I doubt would mind the added company, but more importantly there's nothing stopping the Boston.pm'ers from gathering at another table. (1. I've never attended one of the after-meeting social gatherings, but BLU asks for a show of hands at the end of the meeting so they can reserve an appropriately sized table.)
