i have no real info on either talk. i still can't get sipb (and i have
talked/emailed to them) to post a stupid page about it. i wonder if it
will be attended well at all with the lack of obvious promotion.

i am not pushing either, i just can only attend the mit one as i will be
flying back that morning! and the yapc plug is a separate issue that i
am trying to put in there.

my guess is they are the same. this is the 'academic' tour to get perl
more exposure in that world. i expect a lot of perl6 stuff and larry's
trademark wit and wisdom. perl5 isn't academically sexy and perl6 is
academic porn! :)

i know the room and it is decently sized. prolly a few hundred can fit
(250+ i bet). but again, no promotion that i can find.

good question and i have no answer. there are meters around there but
they may only be 1 hour.
