Good to know. Presumably that was a diff between your working directory
and the local repository, right? How many files in your project?
What version are you using? They seem to be claiming great speed
improvements with each release.

And that improvement should continue: Emacs is slated to migrate from
CVS to Bazaar in the near future. Emacs developers have complained
about speed issues (Emacs has more than 20 years of commits), but the
Bazaar developers seem to be listening. But I've been too lazy to try
Bazaar myself, so I don't have any data points to share.
