Let's also then pose the question the other way around... If the
Extension School were to bring back the Perl class, how many people would
be interested in taking it, either of less experienced programmers on the
list here or people you know? Can we also show that the demand exists?
Would your company or place of business recommend it for new programmers?
Please also tell me if it would be more appealing if it were offered as a
distance ed course, that one could attend online instead of coming to
Cambridge. Again, feel free to write me off-list...

If you think restarting the Perl class is possible, I would be interested -
please contact me privately. I had worked out a full syllabus and examples
for a considerable number of classes, they must be stashed in my attic
somewhere :) Modern Perl would require me to update those, but it would
still be a good starting point.
