Hello Will,
which BrailleNote model are you using?
If you use a BT or PK, I could let you know the dot combinations for
Umlauts.
For ä (ae) it is: dots 3,4,5,8
for ö (oe): dots 2,4,6,8
for ü (ue): dots 1,2,5,6,8
