Kathy, I am writing regarding your comments about transplanting. I won't be
participating. For one thing, my Braille display would not be a good display
to put on a new unit. The other point, like you, I would like to know where
those really good units go that no longer have a Braille display. There are so
many people that go without, because they don't have rehab, and cannot pay for
it themselves. This does not mean they aren't "loyal" customers. It means
they don't have the means that other people have. When I'm teaching, I cannot
believe those who are still using the 4.2 upgrade, because they can't afford
anything else. They bought the unit from someone else, and have never been
able to afford to do better.
