In the Email Settings area I have set my Receive Mail size to only 5. IN 
this way anything larger doesn't get downloaded to my vnqt without a prompt 
first. /that way I check the majority of messages right on the server by 
just hitting I and can deccide if i want to have them downloaded, hear a bit 
more then decide, of just leave them on the server to download on my PC. In 
this way I"m not losing the HTML format messages I want to keep, and I'm not 
bothered with a lot of junk and long messages downloading and wasting space 
and time.
