This is Joseph. I believe the Flash memory chip has
been destroyed. The best option would be sedning your
unit and get an upgraded motherboatd with an extra CF
slot with KeySoft 6.11 at least. That might sort out
the problem. I hope this information may help you.
p.s. As the time goes by, dirt and other materials
will accumulate on the braille display and other
components such as Flash chip and battery.
