This is Joseph. To the person who's BN is locking up:
is your unit BrailleNote mPower? (mPower has USB port
on the back) It is usually caused by the battery. Some
people have complaining about the lock up for some
time now. The HumanWare staff said that you might try
perform Service Reset by pressing Record and Reset at
the same time. The locking up issue and its resolution
can be found at October 2005 mailing list. Note: be
warned that Service Reset performs Hard Reset.
Therefore you should reset the time and date and so
on. You should calibrate the battery once every few
months to ensure that the battery lasts longer. I hope
