Well, um, ann, that was my point. I was looking for how to adjust the volume
which is cleverly tucked away under speech. And well, um, my original question
was why doesn't the volume adjust effect the MP3 player. Your justification for
having two ways to turn up the volume when just one would do is one of those
featuring it because you can't fix it things. My guess is that the low overhead
mp3 player they came up with wouldn't hook into the other volume operation but
since it was low overhead and since that shortcoming would be an advantage in
future applications of the same, it was used even though presently in this unit
it's kinda of dumb. But that's just , um, a guess. and the explanation
certainly wasn't um in the index. Then again, since the media services in the
umpower are more extensive than those in the voicenote, I rather suspect that
they aren't even still using this same low overhead mp3 player any longer, so
that's probably not the excuse at all. Nope, Looks like they jus
t had to feature it. In which case, the two volume adjustment requirements
would have been better described together under V for volume adjustments where
the beep volumes are explainged but the voice volumes aren't mentioned , or at
least detected through a search process rather than an index so they would both
come up. This is why you have professional technical writers write manuals.
