Hi Lisa, Did you try a reset with dots 4 5 6 held down or just press the reset button? You might want to try the 4 5 6 reset before you panic totally.
It sounds like speech isn't working either from what you say and apparently you can't even read the main menu. If you get neither speech nor braille, sounds like you have a serious problem and need to contact Humanware. So, let us know if you get any speech at all. You should see the display full of faint braille cells when the unit is off, at least that's what mine shows. Does this change at all when you turn it on? If you get it turned on, hit spacebar to see if you get any speech. I'm assuming you have the speech volume turned up of course. <smile> I say this because I usually don't. Don
