Try exporting the file to text, or if that fails, Braille. I know it's a pain to have to use a PC for this kind of thing, but you may encounter some word files that just won't, no matter what you try, play nice with the BrailleNote. This is when it becomes painfully obvious that the BN is a PDA, not a PC.
