hI,

wELL, MY GOOD STEREO COMPONENT SYSTEM HAS AN fm TUNER BOUGHT IN 1979. yOU GENERALLY CAN'T BUY THE QUALITY OF PERFORMANCE IN TODAY'S EQUIPMENT. i PAID OVER HALF ITS ORIGINAL COST FOR REPAIR IN THE LATE 1990S. tHE COMPANY PRACTICALLY REBUILT IT. nOTHING COMPARES TO IT TODAY IN PERFORMANCE EXCEPT OTHER HIGH QUALITY VINTAGE EQUIPMENT.

Isaac,

I'm not the kind of person who immediately jumps up at the chance to
upgrade. I'm also of the opinion that if something works, why fix it?

However, the purpose of my message wasn't to debate the value of old vs. new
technology...it was to merely point out the concerns I had regarding
BrailleNote users being left behind by new technology.

I'm all for vintage. I even have a late 70's component stereo in my bedroom
to prove it! <grin> Heck, I even have an old Tellatouch lying around here
somewhere. How's that for old? LOL!
