Hello list,
I fully realize that my antiquated Arkenclone computer is becoming more so
by the day! My wife Dar gave me a file on a floppy disk to put into my
M-power. She scanned the material and converted her efforts to a .txt
file. So far, so good! I got out my disk drive and placed it in the
M-power card slot! My M-power wouldn't recognize my disk drive. I had to
get out my older BN, put the file onto a flash card from the floppy disk
and drive, then copy it from the flash card into my M-power. Has Keysoft
6.2 abandoned the poor antiquated disk drive since there are so many
convenient choices for transferring files? If not, where can I get a
driver for the disk drive? Could I get it from my older unit which has
6.1.1 on it? Meanwhile, I'm shopping for a newer computer so I can better
utilize such things as thumb drives, junk drives, PCMCIA drives
etc. Thanks for your help!
The command for taking out an incorrect character and putting in the proper
character is a holdout from the Braille And Speak days. I prefer that
keystroke over the backspace but then it is all in what you are use
to. Both suggestions are good! I tried the command on my M-power and it
is still good.
