Hi Janel, Well, what you are trying to do sounds pretty simple actually, and you should certainly be able to do it.
Regarding your wireless connection, what is the signal strength you're getting when you go into the options menu, connectivity, and then active connection details? You will see a negative number such as -30 db. The larger the number the weaker signal. A signal of -30 is stronger than a signal of -70 for example. Be sure to position your router in a clear place so it's not totally surrounded by wires as this will improve it's functioning. It sounds like reading mail on the first account works fine though. Also, did you get your connection settings for your wireless connection by using the scan for networks option and using this to create your configuration? For some reason this seems to be much more successful than entering them manually in "create configuration". Don
