Hi Janel, Hmmmm! Are you using a dialup or network connection?
Is your first account part of the service you're trying to connect to and your second account through a different provider? In other words, are you connecting through one provider and trying to access an email account on another provider's servers? If so, it could be possible the provider you're using to connect does not allow outside connections or else the server you're trying to access does not accept connections from outside. You may have said some of this in an earlier message, but honestly don't recall. If you're using a network connection such as a wireless connection, be sure you are getting a good signal to and from your router. You also might wish to try deleting your connection configuration and creating it again. Also make sure your username (including the @provider.com) are correct and also your password. Check the spelling of your pop and smtp servers. You've probably already done these a thousand times, but I'm mentioning them anyway just in case. Don
