Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Calibration

Hi Terri. I changed the subject line to reflect your question.

We're glad to run this list to help customers. But one of the dangers is
that it can create a false impression or even panic among prospective
customers. I can honestly say that the BrailleNote mPower has been a very
successful launch. There are a couple of people who have reported issues
with battery calibration. Sometimes this is because the process is very
different from the old one and this can sometimes cause confusion. But I
think in a couple of cases, there is a genuine problem with the battery in
the unit. This can happen from time to time and if it happens to often,
it's something we take up with the supplier. Initial indications though are
that it's a rare problem given the number of units that have been shipped.
So I think you can have a high level of confidence in the quality of the
BrailleNote mPower. Hope this helps.
