Hopefully, here will be some helpful instructions for you to
install your 5.1. This only works if you are installing less
than 6.11. If you have received your installation as an
attachment, detach it in your Compact Flash drive. Don't change
the document type. After you have detached it, go into the file
manager, then to the file directory and press R. to rename your
file. When you find your file, press Enter. Route the cursor to
the end of the name, and add a dot exe extension. Press Enter,
and you will see something like "new extension? Sure"? Press Y.
for yes.
If you are already running a version of KeySoft from the Flash
Disk, you will be requested to press Reset with dots 1,2,3 held
down, (FDS). Press the Reset briefly until you hear a beep, but
hold your keys down until you hear the chimes.
From the Main Menu, press U. Press A for the Application
Program. At the "Run Program From Which Drive", prompt, press
Space repeatedly to get to the Storage Card or Compact Flash
card. Press enter. At the prompt "Directory Name", the default
directory should be presented as the "Slash. Press Enter to
select this directory, then press Space repeatedly to select
"Setup". Press Enter to run the setup program. Press Enter at
the prompt, "Command Line." You will hear the announcement,
"Welcome to KeySoft version (and your particular installation).
Press Enter. After you hear the installation is complete, press
Reset with no keys held down.
