Hi, Jeff. If I subscribe to Jonathan's podcast feed, there never seems to
be anything there for Ipodder to pick up. Any idea why?

Yes, you can activeSync your recordings to the computer. They are in WAV
format, so they are easily editable with something like GoldWave or
SoundForge (My personal favorite). As for where the streams play from, they
either need to be an .mp3 stream, or a .wma stream and must start from the

As to where the internal microphone is located on the MPower, I'm honestly
not sure, but I believe it to be on top near the speakers as the internal
microphone recording works best with the unit sitting directly in front of
me on the desk top in the normal typing position. But, with the microphone
gain sufficiently raised, it will easily pick up conversations at a table
full of people. For an example of this, go to Jonathan's web page and
listen to his late night recordings from Vegas which were recorded on the
