Hi folks, I have two questions today: First, does the system disk contain everything that was originally installed on the BT mPower so that, hopefully, with a major crash, one can boot up from there and also copy everything over again to the flash disk? If it doesn't work quite like that, could someone explain, please? Second, I have not yet found a list of wireless cards that is recommended for the mPower. Could anyone either point me to this or at least tell me if any of those listed for the earlier BrailleNotes are not recommended for the mPower? I have the MA701 but the engineers here in the UK were quite suspicious of that one and said it may well not be suitable for the mPower. (That was at the time the card had crashed the mPower, so now I really want to know which way to go.) Your help, as always, will be much appreciated. -- Carol [EMAIL PROTECTED] ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
Hi, Carol. As far as I can tell, the cd that comes with the MPower doesn't
have the 6.2 rom build on it. That wold be interesting to know what one
would do if 6.2 needed to be reinstalled.
The ambicom card works great with the MPower and can be had for around 50
dollars or so.
