I am sending this message to Dean and Jonathan as well, but would be interested in hearing from any other Mpower users out there. After my problems trying to do a calibration, I decided to just leave the AC adapter plugged in and let it charge. After a few hours, it went from 53 percent to 82 percent, then seemed to stop. I removed the adapter and plugged it back in again whereupon it went to 85 percent. I went to bed thinking it would be finished by morning. When I looked at the percentage the next morning, it was still at 85 percent. I unplugged the adapter and plugged it back in again. Within a minute or two, it went up to 100 percent. I seem to see this a lot with my unit where the gauge will get stuck when charging. Also, I never get below nine percent before my battery goes completely dead. I don't know if this is because of the lithium battery we are now using. I never get to zero percent or hear that battery critical message. Also, if I use the battery calibration and it starts its message of I'm talking until my battery goes flat, I only get somewhere over seven hours.
I assume this is because I never get to zero percent any more.
I am starting to wonder if this is normal or if I need to send my unit back to have someone look at its battery charging circuitry. I know there are not many MPower users out there at this point, but I would sure like to hear from those who have one and what your experiences are.
You can write me off list if you like.
