Hi Graham, Humanware has made the default folder mode the way it is, to prevent users who do not understand the file and folder structure, creating a folder within a folder or a file several layers down that they then can't find at a later date.
However we are always open to suggestions and we are always investigating ways in which we can improve on existing functionality. I had not realised tyhat the VoiceNote did not show the directory structure by default. It seems a really clunky way to navigate directories to me but I do understand how to do it now. This being able to see either folders or files seems unecesary to me. As all folders are preceded with a slash why not make files and folders visible at all lebels? I don't suppose there is a way to change this?
